We are CYA Davao

Its origin can be traced back on the youth group called "Vessels of Christ" (later by 1989 or 1990 was dissolved) when some of its members were invited to join a Training Conference in Manila and in the Mindanao Conference. By the year 1992, a missionary called Bryan Mahone who also knows Christ's Youth in Action (CYA) Manila approached Maria Carmela "Langging" Rodil to start a formation process to begin establishing CYA Davao. The first ever Christian Life Series (CLS) was conducted in the Chapel of University of Mindanao (UM) - Bolton Campus with six (6) participants coming from that school and six (6) more from the Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU). At present, CYA-Davao is now affiliated and a University Outreach of a Covenanted Community Member of the Sword of the Spirit called Holy Trinity Community (HTC).
